Shabbat

Temple Beth Shalom offers its members many ways to celebrate and enjoy the entire range of Shabbat. During the Summer months, TBS offers many Friday Shabbatot outside at a local park or on our back patio as well as musical Friday night services during the year. Part of our approach to Shabbat is to have engaging programming throughout the 25 hours of Shabbat each week. From welcoming the “Sabbath Queen” to ending with a moving Havdallah.

Traditional Saturday morning services are lead by Rabbi David A. Cantor, Hazzan¬†Judy Sofer. You will find both traditional and newer melodies in all of our services as well as opportunities to participate or lead in Torah reading. Our goal at TBS is to make the whole cycle of Shabbat more enriching and alive in each of our members lives. By providing more opportunities to participate in our services we hope to inspire those seeking a more personal connection to come and learn and pray with our Temple Beth Shalom families. Shabbat Shalom and Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here!
